How many days required for Everest Base Camp trekking.

How many days required for Everest Base Camp trekking.

It depends on trekkers but generally it can be done in 11 - 15 days.Recently in November one of my client finished it in 12 days. Detail of his daily activity is as follow.



11/18 - Day 01: Fly from KTM to Lukla (2,800m) -30 min, trek to Phakding (2,640m) -5 hours (you can stay at Monjo if you catch early flight).
11/19 - Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,430m) - 7 hours
11/20 - Day 03: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar - Everest view hotel. - 5hours
11/21 - Day 04: Extra Acclimatization Day - Went to Thame - 3 hours
11/21 - Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3,867m) - 7 hours
11/22 - Day 06: Tyangboche to Dingboche (4,300m) - 7 hours
11/23 - Day 07: Acclimatization day at Dingboche - hike 5000 meter Nagarjun - 5 hours
11/24 - Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930m) - 5hours
11/25 - Day 09: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) - 3 hours & Everest Base Camp (5,364m) -4 hours
11/26 - Day 10: Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5,550m) - 4hr & Stroll back to Dingboche (4,240m) -5  hours
11/27 - Day 11: Dingboche to Namche Bazar (3867m) -8 hours
11/29 - Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m) - 7 hours
11/30 - Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
