Type of hotel rooms during everest base camp

 According to me hotel is most important part of your Everest base camp trekking because it gives you relax and peaceful environment where you can think and prepare for your next phase.

Also it is most important you choose good hotel in Namche Bazar and Dingboche were you will be spending extra days.

When you book with agency you can't pick which hotel you want to stay.

Agency will always use cheapest hotel or room available with least facility inside the room.

If you do it alone you can pick your own hotel depending on your need and it will be cheaper then what you will pay ($80 - $200) in US or Europe.!!

You can find following rooms around $30 - $50 depending on the season.

Some of the facilities you can get are

• Attach bathroom with toilet
• Attach toilet
• Hot water
• Unlimited electric power to charge your phone and other electronics
• Clean and Hygenie bed sheet, towels and blankets
• Electric blankets.
• Good quality of food with good cook (hygienic).
• Well knowledgeable owner or manger who can talk with you about everything. Some of them even visited USA/Europe and hiked some mountains.
